House of the Dragon Season 2 Posters Released Ahead of Trailer Debut Tomorrow

House of the Dragon Season 2 has dropped a new batch of character posters, teasing the Game of Thrones prequel’s return ahead of the first trailer arriving tomorrow, March 21.
The official House of the Dragon account on X/Twitter shared six new character posters, reminding viewers of the key players heading into the sophomore season of the HBO fantasy series. The posters also herald a warning that “all must choose” a side as Team Black and Team Green prepare to battle against each other.

Those who are on the fence about which team to support might have a better idea by tomorrow as the social media posts tease an imminent trailer release, with fans getting their first look at the next chapter of House of the Dragon on March 21, just a few months out from the second season debuting on Max this June.
House of the Dragon Season 2 picks up from the story of George R.R. Martin’s Fire and Blood, a lengthy novel that covers roughly 150 years of history, concluding with the climactic Dance of the Dragons. In December, Martin shared that he had seen the first two episodes and claimed they were “very dark.”
Season 2 will be shorter than the first, with eight episodes compared to 10 for the first season. The episode count is not indicative of the story, as Martin has already said the show will need at least four seasons to do justice to his book, and HBO’s Head of Drama has seemingly agreed that there is a lot of life left in the series yet.
For now, though, fans should prepare for the brutal and bloody war that will break out when House of the Dragon Season 2 premieres on Max in June.
